INVITATION FOR THE PRESS
The U.S. Embassy invites all press to attend a press conference with U.S. Department of Commerce Assistant Secretary for Market Access and Compliance, William H. Lash III, as he completes his 3 day visit to Romania. This event is scheduled for Thursday, January 30, at 11:15 am at the American Cultural Center auditorium. Press is asked to arrive no later than 11 am.
During the visit, Mr. Lash discussed important U.S. Romanian commercial projects and business climate issues with Romanian Government officials, and was involved in the launching of several new intiatives. This is Mr. Lash's second visit to Romania, the first one having taken place in March, 2002.
