President and Mrs. Obama will host the opening reception for the Pittsburgh G20 summit at the Phipps Conservatory September 24. The guests will include heads of state and their spouses, finance ministers and the officials who will negotiate the agenda for the G20 meeting. A working dinner with Obama and the other world leaders will follow the reception. Phipps Executive Director Richard Piacentini says the conservatory is a great example of the transformation that’s taken place in Pittsburgh, which Obama saw as the reason to invite world leaders to the city.
