Professor Dumitru Oprea, Rector of the University of Iasi, a Fulbright alumnus and Fulbright Board member also delivered a presentation on how the program “changed his life.” The the first issue of the new Exchange Alumni Newsletter was also distributed, which includes numerous articles written by alumni contributors. The event was covered by local TV and radio stations, which ran reports the same day that included interviews with the Library Director, the University Rector and the Cultural Attache.
